Kansas City Chiefs' QB Patrick Mahomes Winning MVP Beats Kurt Warner Record

Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes has become the first reigning MVP in over two decades to also win the Super Bowl in the same NFL season.

Tom Brady was the most recent league MVP to lose a SB. Ironically, it was against none other than the Eagles.

Mahomes, 27, can snap the streak Sunday in Super Bowl LVII with a victory over the Philadelphia Eagles at State Farm Stadium.
