Drake Baits Kendrick Lamar with Weird AI Diss Track
Drake, forever thirsty for attention, is continuing to bait Kendrick Lamar. After releasing “Push Ups” on DSPs on Friday, the Toronto rapper has dropped a second diss track. This one, titled “Taylor Made Freestyle,” includes AI verses made to sound like Tupac and Snoop Dogg.
“Kendrick, we need ya, the West Coast savior/ Engraving your name in some hip-hop history,” AI Tupac raps. “If you deal with this viciously/ You seem a little nervous about all the publicity/ Fuck this Canadian lightskin.”
“I know you never been to jail, or wore jumpsuits and shower shoes/Never shot nobody, never stabbed nobody/Never did nothing violent to no one, it’s the homies that empower you,” adds AI Snoop. “But, still, you gotta show this fucking owl who’s boss on the West/Now’s a time to really make a power move.”
Drake closes the track with his own new verse in which he continues to goads Lamar into responding. “The first one really only took me an hour or two/ The next one is really ’bout to bring out the coward in you,” he raps. Drake also suggests that Lamar is holding off on responding out of deference to Taylor Swift. “But now we gotta wait a fuckin’ week ’cause Taylor Swift is your new Top/ And if you ’bout to drop, she gotta approve/ This girl really ’bout to make you act like you not in a feud.”
After giving a shoutout to Swift, who he calls the “Biggest gangster in the music game right now,” Drake wraps his verse: “Dot, I know you’re in that NY apartment, you strugglin’ right now, I know it/ In the notepad doing lyrical gymnastics, my boy/ You better have a motherfuckin’ quintuple entendre on that shit
Hip-hop’s latest feud began with Drake and Cole’s 2023 hit “First Person Shooter,” which saw J. Cole declare that he, Drake, and Kendrick made up hip-hop’s so called “Big Three.” Lamar struck back with a surprise verse on Future and Metro Boomin’s song “Like That,” saying “Motherfuck the Big 3, n***a it’s just big me.” Cole responded with his own diss track, “7 Minute Drill,” but later apologized for its release and pulled the song from steaming services. Drake then took his turn with the release of “Push Ups” in which he dissed Lamar, Metro Boomin, Future, Rick Ross, The Weeknd, and others.
