Patrick Mahomes’ Unique Love for $13.6 Billion Beer Brand Made Chiefs Star QB Pound 23 Cans, Reveals Travis Kelce on New Heights

Beer and sports boast a long connection dating back ages, and the undeniable flow of the beverage during NFL outings, especially the Super Bowl, stands more authentic than ever.

The connection also spills over into the player base with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, Travis Kelce, recalling an incident along the lines involving his teammate, Patrick Mahomes.

In the latest episode of the New Heights podcast hosted by his brother Jason Kelce, with stand-up comedian Andrew Santino as a guest, the quarterback goes on a drinking spree, which evokes hysterical emotions from the brothers. Moreover, Mahomes’ tales of chugging stands apart!

In Episode 87 of the New Heights podcast, Travis Kelce prompted Andrew Santino to recall the time when Patrick Mahomes “drank 23 Coors lights during the course of 2 of your stand-up shows”. The comedian obliged as he narrated the January incident when the Chiefs’ star downed as many as 23 cans of the light lager from the $13.6 billion giant Monsoon Coors, forcing the venue staff in Dallas to restock.

On the second show “he smoked them,” Santino recalled. Thereafter, the group headed to a Mexican restaurant where “he probably smashed like another dozen” followed by another dozen on a club outing soon after. Mahomes’ love for Coors Light stands well known, with the company even sending him a 25th birthday cake in the shape of a case of the beers. Finally, the comedian summarized the quarterback’s affection for beers as “I see why you’re sponsored dude.”
