Taylor Swift Clock Theory Sends Internet Into Meltdown
Swifties have become known for analyzing every decision Taylor Swift makes, to see if it hints at new music being released—and now they’re focusing on the color of an Eras Tour clock.
Swift kicked off the European leg of her record-breaking tour in March, with her ensemble including 16 backup dancers, four vocalists, and a dedicated live band. The three-and-a-half-hour show features 44 songs across 10 acts, with each “era” inspired by a different album and time in the singer’s life.
Now eagle-eyed fans have noticed that the clock included in the concert’s set design has changed from pink to orange.
According to a popular Reddit thread from 2022, all of Swift’s albums correlate to a certain color. For example, her second album, Fearless is considered to be yellow; Speak Now is purple; her fourth album, Red, is red; reputation is black and her seventh album, Lover, is pink.
Swifties have long speculated that orange would be the color of Swift’s next album since she has subtly incorporated the color into the Eras Tour.
Woman at Eras Tour Has First Contraction, Realizes She’s 8 Hours From Home
Footage of a woman having her first contraction at one of Taylor Swift’s Eras tour shows has gone viral on TikTok.
Mom of two Jenn Gutierrez is seen singing and dancing to Swift’s “Ready for It?” as she cradles her baby bump when suddenly she feels a twinge of pain that stops her in her tracks.
Gutierrez attended the show at Melbourne Cricket Ground—eight hours away from their home in Canberra—with her husband and twin sister, Dani, who noticed she’d stopped dancing, and asked her if she was alright. “We were obviously cleared to travel by my medical team in Canberra [Australia], but we still packed a small amount of baby necessities just in case something happened while we were in Melbourne,” Gutierrez told Newsweek.
The expectant mom made sure she took regular sitting breaks and monitored her heart rate throughout the three-hour show.
“It was during the Reputation set that the contractions kicked in and we started worrying, but there was absolutely no way we were going to miss the show,” Gutierrez explained.
Twin sister Dani ensured that Gutierrez stayed hydrated and was comfortable so they could enjoy the whole show together.
Clocking up almost 5 million views, some TikTok users caught on to the timely song when Gutierrez began to experience contractions, with one commenting: “Baby said ‘are you ready for it?'” while another mom-to-be shared that she’s still planning on going to a show in Miami that is the same day as her due date.
Others also praised Gutierrez for remaining so calm through it all, with one commenting: “The fact that you didn’t stop singing throughout the contraction, boss,” and another said: “Your baby is like ‘Mom I wanna see Taylor Swift too, should I come now??!!'”
