Travis Kelce Embraces Hallmark Movies: "I Dabble Now"

Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce, 34, confessed his admiration for Hallmark movies on the New Heights podcast he co-hosts with brother Jason Kelce. He disclosed that he occasionally indulges in the feel-good films, acknowledging Hallmark as a Kansas City-based company.

During the podcast, guest Andrew Santino’s mention of his wife’s fondness for Hallmark movies sparked the conversation. Travis, prompted by Santino’s inquiry, admitted to being a “huge fan” of the genre. Banter ensued, with Santino jesting about Travis’ penchant for Hallmark cards aligning with his newfound appreciation for their movies.

Travis, a familiar face in the filmmaking realm, serves as an executive producer for the war dramedy “My Dead Friend Zoe.” This production, debuted at the 2024 South by Southwest festival, showcases Travis’ burgeoning interest in entertainment ventures beyond football. Additionally, he’s collaborating on a documentary about artist Jean-Michel Basquiat, titled “King Pleasure,” granted access to Basquiat’s archives for unprecedented insights.

Expressing interest in further acting pursuits post-football, Travis reflected on his exhilarating experience hosting Saturday Night Live, recognizing it as a catalyst for his burgeoning enthusiasm in scripted comedy. He’s slated to host “Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?” on Prime Video, underscoring his evolving trajectory in the entertainment industry.
